Brief Description of the job:

This was a labour only job in Hillingdon, Middlesex. The customer had prepared the floor and sourced the wood themselves. We installed an engineered wood – pre-finished with oil and a beveled edge. Specifically, ‘Ventnor engineered tongue and groove board of a rustic grade 191mm wide in natural oak’. This particular wood is available in 11 other shades with a satin lacquer finish or oil. This job was scheduled at short notice with the customer requesting it be completed within one week. This was because the customer had been let down by the original builder who had planned to install the floor himself before they moved in. The installation also included creating a trap door over a manhole cover and a mains water stopcock tap. The floor was laid on a combination of concrete and the original pine floorboards.
